Electro-Permanent Magnetic Chuck

Electropermanent plates are used in metalworking for clamping of ferromagnetic metal workpieces during milling, grinding and drilling works either on universal machines or on CNC machining centers. Magnetic eld is distributed evenly upon the plate surface on depth of 16mm. An electropermanent plate consumes power only at the moment of workpiece clamping/unclamping, which lasts for 0,6-3 seconds. Clamping and unclamping of workpieces is eected only with two buttons. The plateshave high environmental and corrosion resistance.

Electronic controller regulates the attracting force of
an electropermanent plate (1-8 or 1-16 levels depending
on the controller type). This allows setting optimum
attracting force to rm workpiece clamping
without its deformation. Pole extensions (option)
allow clamping of complex geometry workpieces,
with a stepped lower surface.
